It's been a few months since I last posted on my blog. I've been super busy. The kids have all kinds of activities and sometimes I barely come up for air.
I'm thankful that I've been taking my Max GXL to help increase my glutathione levels. I have more energy and I'm not as tired in the middle of the day. I don't feel like taking a nap at 3:00pm anymore. That is huge for me because 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
I didn't realize how much an improvement increasing my glutathione level made until I was without Max GLX for a few weeks. We had run out and we were not able to get or product right away. I totally crashed. I felt just as bad if not worse than before I started taking Max GXL
As soon as our box came in, I tore into the box and took a packet of Max GXL. It took almost a week of detox before I felt good again. Matthew and I ordered several extra boxes so we wouldn't get caught without any Max GXL again.
I honestly don't know if you will get the same results I did from increasing your glutathione levels, but it wouldn't it be great if you did? Please, free to leave your comments or visit my website. If you have questions, I'll be sure to get back with you. I hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day weekend.

Fibromyalgia/Glutathione Connection
Fibromyalgia/Glutathione Connection
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 4 years ago and I have been seeking natural alternatives to relieve the symptoms. There are several things that I have found to help relieve the symptoms. They include exercise, diet, and the use of supplements.
I’m always on the look out for supplements that help give me some relief of the symptoms Fibromyalgia causes. I discovered through my research there is a link between low glutathione levels and Fibromyalgia. Most people don’t know what Fibromyalgia is so I’ll give you a quick description of what Fibromyalgia is.
Fibromyalgia is a stiffness and pain syndrome involving muscles, connective tissues (tendons, ligaments), bursae, and joints. It is also characterized by severe fatigue that is unrelieved by sleep because often people with Fibromyalgia don’t get much, if any, stage 4 (delta) sleep. Delta sleep is the “healing” phase of sleep where repair of bodily tissues takes place. It is considered an autoimmune disorder and is usually treated by a Rheumatologist.
You can’t increase glutathione levels by simply taking extra glutathione. The body doesn’t absorb it properly. You have to include supplements that help to increase the production of glutathione in your body. Some of the supplements are N Acetyl Cysteine, L-glutamine, and Cordyceps. Max GXL has those supplements list plus a few others that help with liver support.
I’ve found that for myself I have more energy when I work out. That is a big improvement for me. Before, I would struggle to get through walking just a mile. Most days I can now do 2 miles. Because my fitness level is improving, I have been able to lose some weight.
I’m not saying that Max GXL is the cure for Fibromyalgia. What I can tell you is what increasing glutathione levels has done for me as a person with Fibromyalgia symptoms. If it can do for you what it has done for me, wouldn’t that be great?
If you want more info about Max GXL, go to our website, fill out the form, and I’ll get back with you.

My Story Continued
To continue with my story, I have had some battles with my health over the past 4 years. I was having constant pain all over my body and I finally went to the Doctor and was told I have Fibromyalgia.
I continued to struggle with pain and weight issues. I went through every natural remedy I could find. I didn't get much relief. I kept gaining weight and have gained 100lbs in the past 4 years.
I had some serious health problems last year and was laid up for several months. I was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and Insulin Resistance. That explained the weight gain.
The weight gain was a source of great frustration for me because I was not over eating and my diet was not horrible either. I do admit that I ate garbage occasionally, but not frequently enough to justify the weight gain. My diet was fairly clean. I gave the doctor my food diary and he said I should not have gained this much weight.
The PCOS and Insulin Resistance causes the body's metabolism to slow and not process sugar and starch properly. You end up storing the excess as fat and that is what was happening to me.
The remedy for PCOS is weight loss, but PCOS causes you not to be able to lose weight. I was in a Catch 22 situation. I learned that the best way for me to get rid if the weight is to follow a low carb diet. I have turned my health around and I'm getting back to where I was 4 years ago.
Part of my turn around was the strict diet and exercise program. Because of the PCOS, any "cheating" on my diet can cause a weight gain of several pounds in one day. I have to be very strict in order to see the results.
Exercise has been extremely important as well. It speeds the metabolism and is helpful in relieving the firbromyalgia symptoms.
I have also increased the amount of Glutathione in my system. Increasing Glutathione has helped in many ways. I have had less problems with allergies this winter and early spring this year. I have suffered from constant allergy problems for about 9 years. I suffer spring, summer, fall, and winter. Almost everything that blooms or pollenates causes me trouble. Runny nose, itchy eyes, severe congestion, and cold symptoms have caused me about a weeks worth of down time every year. I haven't had a down day this year as of March.
The increase in Glutathione has also helped me with my exercise performance. I take 6 capsules about 15 minutes before I exercise. I have more energy for my work out and I'm not as sore as I normally am after working out. I also notice that breathing is easier while working out.
If you have questions about Glutathione, go to my web site and I'll get in touch with you. Also if you know anyone that could use a product like this, drop me a line. I can't promise the same results I have gotten form increasing Glutathione, but wouldn't it be great if it worked for you, like it has for me?

Up To My Armpits in Alligators!
Hello All,
I didn't get a chance to post today because I have been totally swamped all day. I started my day hitting the ground running and haven't stopped till now. It's 10:30pm where I'm at and I need to get ready for bed.
For the past week, the husband and I have been working at going to at 11:00pm. We really should be getting at least 8 hours per night and going to bed at 2:00am and getting up at 6:00am is just not cutting it for us.
Studies have shown that lack of sleep adds a tremendous amount of stress to our bodies. Sleep helps the your immune system function properly. Lack of sleep can cause hormonal imbalances that stop you from losing weight.
I could go on and on about the importance of a good night's sleep but, I'm going to stop for now. If you're on the East Coast, you should think about going to bed, too.
Good Night! I hope you have a great night's sleep.
Michelle

My Story
Hello All,
Today, I promise to share some of my background in health and nutrition. So here I go…
I have been involved in health and nutrition for over 15 years. I worked as a hospital pharmacy tech right out of high school. I wanted to be a pharmacist. After working in that setting for a few years, I realized I hated being around sick people all day long. I also discovered that most of the drugs prescribed only treated symptoms and didn’t fix the problem.
Matthew and I met while I was working at the hospital and he was into health as well. He introduced me to network marketing and natural health products that focused on preventing disease and healing the body naturally. After my exposure, I was hooked.
In the meantime, we had three kids back to back and found that doctor’s visits were costly. It didn’t seem to work as far as some of the issues my kids were having. We had a friend that introduced us to tea tree oil and we started using that for my son’s chronic ear infections. The infection cleared up in about a week and that was after 4 or 5 rounds of antibiotics that didn’t work or him. We never had to use antibiotics again to treat ear infections.
From that point, we made it our goal as a family to find natural ways to treat illness instead of using the doctor first. We still had to go to the doctor for check ups and if there was something going on that we couldn’t handle ourselves, but our visits were definitely less frequent and we were healthier overall.
When we moved back to Georgia, I had to find work. I didn’t want to work a job that I hated anymore. I had been in sales and management for years, but I was always sell stuff I wasn’t really passionate about. There was a vitamin store that had just opened in our area and I knew I would run that store one day.
I started as assistant manager and in 9 months I was the store manager. I was there almost five years before I left to work for myself. During my time at the store, I studied everyday and researched all types of health concerns. Ever customer would bring a new health topic to look up. My philosophy was if I didn’t know the answer, I would look until I found it for them.
After I left the vitamin store, I opened my own herb shop. I sold dry lose herbs and other natural products. I had quiet a customer following. I even had some of my customers from the vitamin store follow me to the herb shop.
I had to close my herb shop because I started to have some health issues. I needed to get my self back on track before I could help others again. That is where I am today. I am still working towards gaining my health back. The thing that has helped me the most on this journey has been increasing my glutathione levels.
I’ll have to stop me story here, but I’ll continue in tomorrow’s blog.
I hope your day is a great one!

The Body's Master Antioxidant
This article was written by my husband last month. He gives an excellent explaination of how Glutathione works in the body and how important it is for maintaining good health. I couldn't have done a better job with this article so I copied here for you guys. Read on and if you have questions, please drop me an e-mail at sozohealth@gmail.com
Did you know Glutathione is the most powerful, prevalent antioxidant in your body? Increasing your glutathione level will naturally increase your energy, detoxify your body and strengthen your immune system.
GLUTATHIONE: The Body's Master Antioxidant Glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. Although there are more than 60,000 published papers on the beneficial effects of glutathione replacement, it is still largely ignored by mainstream medicine. . In the near future the importance of glutathione will be widely recognized because it has the ability to boost the immune system and fight off the damage of free radicals on the cells.Glutathione has been shown to slow down the aging process, detoxify and improve liver function, strengthen the immune system, and reduce the chances of developing cancer.Glutathione also works to help improve mental functions, increase energy, improve concentration, permit increased exercise, and improve heart and lung function - just to name a few.Increasing Age and Other Factors Reduce the Body’s Production and Utilization of GSH.Research has shown that individuals who have low levels of glutathione are susceptible to chronic illness. Research shows that GSH levels decline by 8% to 12% per decade, beginning at the age of 20. Levels of glutathione are further reduced by continual stress upon the immune system such as illness, infection, and environmental toxins. As we now know, a lowered immune system can bring about illness and disease. This is a ferocious cycle. While you need glutathione for a productive immune system, a weakened immune system hampers the production of glutathione.Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase The Body’s GSH Levels. It is pointless to purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested glutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.
